For those keeping score, or interested in viewing these pug nose geese, they're still hanging around. Made a very quick stop at approx 3:40PM, from five days away, to scope a couple strings of geese in the lower Thornhurst Farm field in excellent late afternoon light, and found two almost immediately. Did not scan other groups near the lower field, or higher up, but the other three Cackling Geese are probably there, as well.
For the truly sick, you will find hundreds upon hundreds, if not thousands, of geese to scan, for your viewing pleasure, in the Yarmouth, North Yarmouth, Cumberland and Falmouth Goose Fields. Rob Speirs Cumberland, ME
