No bears here.
I have a new birdfeeder, one of the ones with a cage all around and under it that only small birds can access. Mostly I get chickadees and nuthatches, and it remains to be seen if the larger finches will make it through.I have a pigeon problem; their wing flaps scare away the smaller birds. So I figured I'd leave my old feeder, a typical tube that the pigeons land on, there; larger species like cardinals use it to. Here's my question: If a pigeon is on the tube feeder (looking ridiculous), am I more like to attract my smaller, more skittish friends if "their" feeder is higher, or lower, than the one with the pigeon on it?
