While hundreds of juncos were snowing across our hill this morning, I heard Horned Larks, and found 7 of them, well camouflaged, grazing on the lawn. There are still a couple of Yellow-rumped Warblers fly-catching around the yard, a Golden-crowned Kinglet, and a flock of Purple Finches, among all the usual.
-- At Pemaquid Beach this afternoon (without binoculars) I noted a close Horned Grebe and Common Loon.
