A red-necked grebe on the lake -- unusual this early in the season, and this far inland -- and six loons.
And a swarm of goldfinches, easily 100 of them, with a few pine siskins mixed in, in pine stands near the village cemetery. Two ruffed grouse, also in the woodlots near cemetery.
