Thanks to Bill Townsend for sharing his sighting of the Yellow-headed Blackbird! I saw it yesterday evening and again this morning. You can see pictures on-line at www.facebook.com/TheNaturalHistoryCenter.
I am doing a weekly seawatch from Otter Cliffs in Acadia National Park. The highlight of this morning's seawatch was a single Atlantic Puffin! We also had a Peregrine Falcon and small numbers of all-three scoters and Common Loons.
Anyone interested in joining us for the seawatch? We will be at Otter Cliffs 8-10 Wednesdays through November.
