-- I will head north to Sheehan country, Friday/Saturday, to try for the rare geese and any other goodies, and would appreciate additional details. Did you take Conant Road to what appears on the map as a dam road to scan Christina? Where is Puddle Duck Pond in Fort Fairfield? Google maps is not helping me find that body of water. We hope to be as successful as your group. Thanks for any additional tips you can give me.

Jerry Smith, Clay Hardy and I birded Aroostook County today looking for the geese Bill Sheehan found Monday. Some highlights were;Barnacle Goose at Christina Reservoir, seen at 10:37am when it came in with several hundred Canada Geese.Pink-footed Goose at Puddle Duck Pond in Fort Fairfield.Adult Lesser Black-backed Gull in Fort Fairfield at sandbar in river west of HWY1A bridge.Juv.
