[Maine-birds] Sabattus Pond
At noon today there were easily 400+ Ruddy Ducks on Sabattus Pond, mostly seen from Riley Rd. but far out. There were also a few (20?) Scaup. In the small cove at the south end were 7 Coot and one female Hodded Merganser. Many Mallards around the edges. Riley Rd. on the hillside had Juncos, White-throated Sparrows, and a Brown Creeper, plus lots of the usual Chickadees, WB Nuthatch and Titmice.
