[Maine-birds] Washington County weekend wrap--up: Pipit, Pec's, late warblers

Hi all -- It was a rainy weekend, but Beth and I salvaged a fine getaway, 2-nighter time of it, visiting locations in Perry, Moosehorn, Milbridge and Steuben. Highlights below:

In Perry at Birch Point and Sipp Cove MCHT preserve:

1 late B-t Green Warbler
Surf and W-w Scoters
1 Belted Kingfisher
1 S-s Hawk
Greater Yellowlegs, Robins, G-b Herons, Bonaparte's Gulls

On the Sipayik causeway to Eastport:

4 juv Bald Eagles in a cluster on the rocks

In Moosehorn NWR, Baring Division, primarily on the Driving Loop:

10 Pectoral Sandpipers (one flock)
1 Am. Pipit
2 P-b Grebes
1 R-n Duck

McLellan Park, Milbridge:
1 late Pine Warbler

Pinkham Bay, Steuben:
5 Wild Turkey
2 Hoodies
1 Belted Kingfisher
