Re: [Maine-birds] Wild birds

I'm seeing same thing here in N Windham,, Wally.  Lots of birds in the yard but very little seed consumption except the suet.  Maybe, as you suggest it's a sign that we're doing a good job w/ keeping natural food sources inour areas.

I (and probably many others ) was wondering the same thing myself.

I was also wondering if others are experiencing the same phenomenon in other parts of the State as here in central Maine--virtually no birds coming to the feeders?  I'm hoping it's because of an abundance of wild feed, rather than a lack of birds.
