Thanks Bill for spotting this goodie. A small group of us swarmed the hotel complex just after 5 this afternoon, and we spotted it flying overhead toward the College of the Atlantic campus (or toward Great Meadow in ANP?). Rich McDonald, Ed and Debbie Hawkes, Billy Helprin and myself appreciated the find.

There is an adult male Yellow-headed Blackbird on the lawn behind the Events Center at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel on Rt. 3 ( Eden St.) in Bar Harbor. Has been there all afternoon, feeding, by itself, no other blackbirds nearby. Picture will be on the Maine Birds facebook page.
