[Maine-birds] Update on rare geese in Northern Maine

I tried to relocate the Barnacle, White-fronted, Pink-footed, Cackling and Snow Geese today and came up empty.  This really doesn't mean much since I had only my lunch hour and there were scads of geese to sort through and lots of spots locally I didn't check where they could be.

With a steady south wind and worsening weather expected for the next few days, I believe the birds are still in the area and if so, will probably be around for a few days more.

I will try to offer more updates when possible.
