[Maine-birds] Surfbird no

Walked all along the shore at Biddeford Pool and out and around East Point today on a receding tide from approximately 2:45 -4 pm. No surfbird, only a few purple sandpipers. No snowy owl either. Plenty of common eiders, two common loons - one in full breeding plumage, a pair of hooded mergansers, 4 white-winged scoters, several surf scoters and 8 brants. Also had a sharp-shinned hawk at the edge of the golf course. Several song sparrows were singing happily. Nice day, even if there wasn't a surfbird.
