We have had phoebes every spring since we moved here. They usually nest either on our porch or under the deck. They are exhibiting behavior this year that I've never seen before. I keep seeing them at the bird feeders. They have always perched on top of the shepherd hooks but this year not only are they in the shelf feeder, they also try to get onto the tube feeders with little success. Anyone else seen this type of behavior? I have never seen one in a feeder before.
