[Maine-birds] Wells: Green-winged Teal (Eurasian), Pied-billed Grebe

Hello all,

Following up on Scott Richardson's eBird report from this morning, I
observed a drake Green-winged Teal (EURASIAN type) around 1:30pm on
Harbor Rd. in Wells. Directions: From Route 1, take Harbor Rd. until
you see open water on your right. The teal was on that pond, along
with a Pied-billed Grebe, Ring-necked Duck, and many dabblers.

A spotting scope is helpful as the ducks are well away from the road.
The notable exception was the Pied-billed Grebe, who was very close to
the road.

My full checklist is here: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S22740119

I'll add photos tonight.

Be well,
Josh
