Re: [Maine-birds] TH HERMON - Black Vulture

Bruce Barker refound the vulture in Newport about 9:15 this morning near the intersection of routes 2 and 7.  It is a Black Vulture and Jerry Smith and I were able to get there to see it before it left the area around 10:30.  It was moving around between the Hannaford, Irving Gas and Wal-mart.

Could that be a Black Vulture?  I can't tell from the photo and the caption also says Newport not Hermon.  Any way to find out the location where it was taken?

Good Birding,
John
