Spotted a male green-winged teal sitting on the ice of Ulan Pond just north of the Nubble this afternoon (Tuesday). He made the mallards look quite large.
Also in that neighborhood, there was an adult Bald Eagle sitting atop a spruce tree near the Cape Neddick Lobster Pound. He/she seems to be there quite often, like an ornament.
And just up the road from there I saw a juvenile Red-shouldered Hawk on the wires at Shore Rd and Agamenticus Ave.
I dipped on the Pacific Loon at the Cliff House. Will try again tomorrow at a higher tide…
