[Maine-birds] Frenchman Bay

31 October.  Six months of nature cruises with this being the final cruise of 2022.  An increase in Common Loons, sea ducks, and a winter alcid were noted.

Common Loon 18.  (Had a Red-throated Loon on 10/26)

Gannet 6

Great Cormorant 1.  the first since mid-May

Double-c Cormorant ~50

Common Eider 18  (down slightly with up to 120 seen earlier in the week)

Long-tailed duck 4   first of the season

Bald Eagle 12,  Numbers have been increasing the latter half of October.   8 adult  4 juveniles

Herring Gulls

Great Black-backed Gulls. with a flock of 28 on Egg Rock

Black-Guillemot  20+  all in full winter/juvenile plumage

Razorbill  1   Another first for the coming season.
