Great that you finally got to see them! We're a bit spoiled up here in southern Somerset County. They congregate in those cornfields every fall.

I just got a report from Louis Bevier that the flock has split up and there are none in Smithfield, but 20-23 on Martin Stream Rd., in Norridgewock. They move around a lot.
