[Maine-birds] Kittery through Wells, 10/14 (WEVI, 2 OCWA, etc).

Hi all,
Jeannette and I took advantage of this gorgeous day to bird our usual Kittery through Wells route. It was a very birdy day, with volumes of Yellow-rumped Warblers, White-throated and Song Sparrows, and decent numbers of most of the usual mid-October migrants. Also, the following highlights:

- Fort Foster, Kittery:
1 WHITE-EYED VIREO
1 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER
1 Black-throated Blue Warbler
1 Semipalmated Sandpiper
4 American Pipits
- Seapoint Beach, Kittery:
1 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER
1 Horned Grebe (FOF)
- 1 "Ipswich" Savannah Sparrow, Nubble neighborhood.
- 2 Semipalmated Plovers, Shore Rd, Ogunquit.
- 12 Brown-headed Cowbirds, The Sweatshirt Shop, Wells.
- 4 Lesser Yellowlegs, Harbor Rd, Wells.
- 1 Nelson's Sparrow (ssp. subvirgatus) Community Park, Wells.

- total of 6 spp warblers, 8 spp sparrows, and 6 spp of butterflies.
