[Maine-birds] Sabattus Swimmers and Divers

Hello All,

Fourteen species seen at Sabattus Pond this morning:

Great Cormorant 2, Common Loon 1, Pied-billed Grebe 1, American Coot 5, Lesser Scaup #, Greater Scaup # (70 Scaup sp total) Ring-necked duck 5, Redhead 2 (pair) Ruddy Duck 35, Mallard 90, Black Duck 3, Northern Pintail 1, Blue-winged Teal 1 Canada Goose 48.

Most seen from South End Beach (Rte 9)  or Martin's Point Boat launch being shuffled around by boaters or Bald Eagles.

Pied-billed Grebe, pintail and coots seen at nearly enclosed cove at west end of south end beach.
