Bar Harbor 10/15/14
The bird was present at 9:45 a.m. today (Wed. 10/15/14) in front of the "Willows" on the Atlantic Oceanside property. A car load of Massachusetts people arrived and were taking picture of it at that time. I did not see it when I got off the boat at 3:30 p.m. but did not search all of the hotel property however. It was always feeding on the lawn within 6-10 inches of the edge of the pavement. It was very tame and allowed one to approach within 6 feet of it. It never did fly and would walk away if one got closer.
