Hi all -- My wife and I spent the afternoon plunking around some Blue Hill vantage points and preserves, including Peter Brook Trail, the Blue Hill Cemetery, and Curtis Cove.
-- While watching an acrobatic kite surfer catch significant (and scary) air from the Curtis Cove Road in E. Blue Hill, we also had long looks at an early Cliff Swallow beating its way into the very same headwinds. Had 10 minutes to observe the bird with both bins and a scope, so was able to clearly see the creamy forehead patch and the dull reddish rump.
Best,
Craig K.
