Went looking for the snowy owl I had seen twice but not in evidence. Did see 5 Great Cormorants, 4 adults in breeding plumage and 1 first year, out on Gunning Rocks. Also a pair of long tailed ducks, a surf scoter, several common loons and a single red-throated loon. A bunch of common golden-eyes and red breasted mergansers. Common eiders always present.
