[Maine-birds] Wrong about being wrong...

Don't want to be pesty about the Owls Head mew gull topic, but I just walked across the street from my Owls Head office to the lobster pen area -  the mew gull flew past me, floating just a few feet overhead and vocalizing. Guess it begs the question about two wrongs ever making a right. In addition to accurate bird data, I try to be sensitive about folks driving distances for a bird that is absent. I do believe my report of mew gull yesterday was, in fact, a young herring gull, however.
