This morning a Yellow-billed Cuckoo was calling loudly in my yard in Unity. The bird had not been noted previously, so appears to be a new arrival. There was also a Black-bill calling soon afterwards. Perhaps the Yellow-bills are staging a mid-summer movement similar to what I witnessed locally in the summer of '13?
