[Maine-birds] Re: Seal Island NWR (Restricted Access) - Icelandic Arctic Tern

After submitting the band to the proper authorities in Iceland I have learned that this sighting is the first band recovery of a tern "ringed" in Iceland in the United States.

There are currently no recognized subspecies of  Arctic Terns but, it is still fascinating none the less!
