[Maine-birds] Fwd: eBird Report - Sanford Lagoons - open Mon-Fri 6AM-4:30PM & Sat-Sun 7-8:30AM, Jul 13, 2018


Hello,
It would appear that the migration of shore birds is under way at the Lagoons. This influx of new birds has happened in the last 3 days.   The conditions in the center front pond, (pond #one) is perfect for shorebirds. Shallow water, grass to hide in, exposed mud flat.
Killdeer increased by about 14 birds,
     The new comers are:
Least Sandpipers 4,
Semipalmated Sandpiper  1, 
Short-billed Dowitcher  2 , 
Lesser Yellowlegs  11
