Hi all -- My wife and I joined the Aroostook Birding Club's morning walk at Christina Lake in Fort Fairfield this morning. It was hot and windless, and the water level was low. But the 8 of us had a great time and saw cool stuff. Highlights:

Waterfowl: Gadwall, Wigeon, Ring-necks, both teal, Canada Goose

Shorebirds: only a Solitary, a Spotted and some distant peeps

Warblers: Magnolia, Parula, Cape May, Nashville, Common Yellowthroat, and many Yellow-rumps.

Gulls: Ring-bills, Bonaparte's, Herring

Also: 3 Y-b Sapsuckers, 3 Bald Eagles, 1 Swamp Sparrow

List here

Best,
