Observation start time: 08:00:00 Observation end time: 16:00:00 Total observation time: 8 hours Official Counter Andrew Sharp Observers: Jim Pinfold
Visitors:
7 visitors today.
Weather:
Chilly start to the morning. Thermal distortion made raptor ID challenging for the first half of the day. Mostly moderate northwest winds today.
Raptor Observations:
Pretty slow today, but we at a few birds to look at.
Non-raptor Observations:
No migrating non-raptors were observed today! A total of 16 species were detected from the summit, including a calling Barred Owl. The male Junco that hangs out at the summit was seen with a female this morning, best of luck to them this spring!
Predictions:
More winds out of the northwest tomorrow, temps will be slightly higher but not by much. Skies will be mostly clear. Tomorrow probably wont be record-breaking, but we'll definitely count some migrating raptors.
