Blue skies today, temps rose to 57 degrees in the afternoon. Winds were mostly out of the north, with a western component at times.
Raptor Observations:
Today was slow but less slow than yesterday, thank goodness. Nothing too exciting to report, with the exception of an immature Northern Goshawk.
Non-raptor Observations:
Non-raptors deemed migratory include: -Common Merganser (2) -Great Blue Heron (2) -Duck Spp. (8) -Easter Bunny (1) -Tree Swallow (19) A total of 19 species were observed from the summit, including a Belted Kingfisher
Predictions:
Chance of rain tomorrow, with moderate-to-strong NNW winds.
