I visited Parsons Beach in Kennebunk today and, after taking two and a half hours to figure out I was searching in the wrong place, succeeded in locating the continuing BLUE GROSBEAK foraging with some sparrows along the road by the horse paddocks. I also found a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW in the same place, a welcome bonus bird.
-- I was also intrigued by 16 Red-throated Loons, in groups of 1, 4, and 11, that were vocalizing while flying high over the marsh near the parking area. Definitely the first time I've heard a RTLO!
