I just wrapped up a video project at Schoodic Point on this year’s Sea Watch, viewable at Tens of thousands of seabirds pass Schoodic Point in Acadia National Park - YouTube.
The northern gannets have really been streaming past the point over the last several days. Yesterday morning, I heard my first migrating pine siskins and American pipits passing over, too. Yellow-rumped warblers have finally thinned out at the point. They’ve had a boisterous October there.
