[Maine-birds] Pipits - Bowdoinham

A flock of nervous Am Pipits, mixed w/ E Bluebirds, was bouncing around fields planted in winter cover on Pork Point Rd.  I kept upping my estimate until it leveled off at 40.  Eleven Bluebirds.

Nearby Browns Pt Rd hosted lots of sparrows, nothing unusual.  100 ducks close by the southern shore of this peninsula (Merrymeeting Bay) included 12 N Pintails.  Another 250 away from shore was comprised of mallards and blacks, with a few teal.  None of the former 350 would have been visible from the mouth of the Abby.
