One adult Northern Shrike seen checking out the food menu this morning at 8:45 during one of the heaviest cells of the storm. The bird was so hungry enough so that he/she disregarded my body being 10 ft.away. Usually they're quite spooky. He/she couldn't decided whether to choose any one of the 3 American Tree Sparrows, 12 Blue Jays, a lone Slate Colored Junco, a lone Morning Dove or 2 Black-capped Chickadees for breakfast and left after a bit.
