Today there was an olive-sided flycatcher on South Chatham Road in Stow, in western Maine. It's in the same location as seen by Mik Oyler about a month ago, and it's ideal habitat, so I suspect that this is a resident bird.
A mile away on Harbor Road there is a pair of kestrels, and another half mile away is another kestrel on McNeil Road. There have been 3 kestrels on McNeil earlier so it's quite likely that kestrels have successfully nested in both locations.
