[Maine-birds] Re: QUERY: nesting Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers along the coast

Hello Peter. I live in Searsmont (Waldo Co.) and see juveniles often and last year there was a YBSA nest on my farm.

Hope that helps!

Good birding,
Fyn

I'm interested in Yellow-bellied Sapsucker nesting records in York, Cumberland, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and Waldo counties.  They're surprising scarce along the south-central coast in summer.

Thanks.

Best, Peter
