Hi all,
My other observations of note over the past 11 days also included:
- 1 adult Glaucous Gull and 1 1st-winter Iceland Gull, Bath Landfill, 1/27. Perhaps the same two individuals were in the Kennebec River off of Bath's downtown later that morning.
- 1 1st-winter Iceland Gull, off Winslow Park, Freeport, 1/28 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).
- 1 male Barrow's Goldeneye, 1 male Belted Kingfisher, and all three mergansers, Lower Falls Landing, Yarmouth, 1/28 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).
- 3 Lesser Scaup, Cumberland Town Landing, 1/28 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).
- 1 continuing male KING EIDER, 3 1st-winter and 1 second winter Iceland Gulls, Old Port, Portland, 1/29 (with York County Audubon Gull Workshop group).
- 2 American Pipits, Seapoint Beach, Kittery, 1/30 (with Jeannette).
- 1 hen Northern Pintail, Moody Marsh, Ogunquit, 1/30 (with Jeannette).
- 1 continue SHORT-EARED OWL, Reid State Park, Georgetown, 2/2 (at dusk).
- 42 Bohemian Waxwings, Church Hill Road, Augusta, 2/3.
- Cedar Waxwings have been quite widespread this past week, with a high count of 70 around our store on 2/1.
