Overcast all day. Winds extremely calm but out of the NE generally. Temps peaked at 54 F.
Raptor Observations:
Very slow! Ospreys were the most numerous migrant today.
Non-raptor Observations:
Non-raptor deemed migratory: -Yellow-rumped Warbler: 14 -Tree Swallow: 4 -Eastern Kingbird: 1 (FOS) -Pine Siskin: 1 -American Goldfinch:1 -Common Loon: 1 -**Sandhill Crane**: 3 A total of 28 species were detected from the summit.
Predictions:
Temps peaking in the mid 60's. Winds will start out of the northwest but will switch to the southwest around lunch time. Skies will start blue but will increase in cloudiness throughout the day.
