[Maine-birds] Hudsonian Godwit at Sabattus

During the Stanton bird walk this morning, Steve Reed found an Hudsonian
Godwit at Sabattus Pond. It was on the sandspit seen from the private
camp road entered on Access Road off of Wales / Pond Rd. This is a
private dirt road best walked. The sandspit is the "usual" one adjacent
to an empty lot and seen from the wood rail fence along the camp road at
this point. The sandspit also had 100+ gulls. Pipits were seen in the
area. Sabattus Pond is full of the usual fall ducks. While the camp road
can be driven there is no parking space and with year round residents
there is traffic. Parking is best at the entrance from Access Rd. along
Railroad Rd.
