[Maine-birds] Rock Dove (Pigeons)

November  - A few days ago I saw a flock of flying white birds in North Dexter. I knew they were not gulls. Today in the same area, I saw them again. After looking through binoculars, I confirmed they were Rock Dove in a flock of about 25 or 30. I have seen an occasional white one mixed with other colors. Are these raised by someone in the area? How else to explain so many white ones in the same group?
