[Maine-birds] Surf Scoters

6 surf scoters, inc. 3 males with distinctive orange beaks and white patches on the napes of their necks, easily spotted swimming west of the pier at Southern Maine Community College in South Portland about noon. Also 1 loon, 7 black ducks, 1 eider male and 2 eider females.

The 2 female orioles were present yesterday afternoon & this afternoon.

Hi, I just had an Eastern Bluebird at my mealworm feeder here in Skowhegan. This has been a very strange year. I have never had bluebirds during the winter!
