My cousin and a mutual friend spent a couple hours birding at the California Fields in Hollis today. We had several sparrow species , Grasshopper, Field, Savannah along with Towhees. There were many Prairie Warblers and one Indigo Bunting. I do want to give a shout out about the ticks here. They are numerous. We picked several off while birding and when we got back to the truck we each pulled off 10+ ticks off each of us. If you go here take all precautions to avoid these little monsters.
