At 44 degrees at 0800 in West Kennebunk, we had first-of-the-year: house wrens, wood thrushes, a blue-headed vireo, a black-throated blue warbler, a parula warbler, and several rose-breasted grosbeaks. For good measure, a double-crested cormorant flew over the house.
(And the great blue heron is still trying to clear the yard of chipmunks.)
