[Maine-birds] Glaucous Gull - Barrows Goldneye - Saco

I took some photos and will post them on the Maine Bird List Flickr site later.  I believe I had a second cycle Glaucous Gull late this morning until about 12:30.  I attempted to get closer to it by donning a pair of waders and entering the river (mind you I was at work at the time and all of my co-workers were having lunch looking out the window gawking at me...)  And when I hit the water, it flew off.  It was snowing and I was hoping to get a clearer shot by closing the distance a bit.

The Glaucous flew down river and may have been observable near the Saco Yacht Club.

Side result was getting great shots of a hen CoGo that swam pretty close to me and a muskrat that was at one point within my minimum focus distance.  I only wish the light was better.

Two Drake BaGo continue and we get an occasional Common Merganser here and there too.
