My husband and I drove up to the Flood Brothers Farm in Clinton to take a look around. We saw a Red Tail Hawk up in the pine trees. A Coopers Hawk was perched in a tree near the house calling for food. I only know the call because there were 2 groups of falconers there that said that's what the Coopers was calling for. Those that go to look for hawks in this area might like to know that the falconers have been in the area 4 times this week. They work a Peregine Falcon, a Red Tailed Hawk and Gyrfalcon/Peregrine mix. They were hunting for pigeons at this time. We also saw 2 American Tree Sparrows. A nice find.
