[Maine-birds] All in at West Kennebunk

Nice to have the windows open at night-been a while! The chorus began at daybreak-first appearances of the spring for rose breasted grosbeaks, wood thrush(singing for 2 hours), hermit thrush, and catbird. Morning featured a hummer chasing a chickadee all through a hemlock-hummer has been here since Sunday. Pileated and red bellied woodpeckers also were very vocal as were the phoebe pair nesting on my garage.  #'s of Warblers about-heard black&white, yellow rumped and black throated green plus others unknown - too high up and distant!  No orioles yet...Sharon in West K.
