[Maine-birds] Aroostook County this aft: Redheads, Ruddies, Sora and more

Good evening all -- Lake Josephine in Easton was good 'n birdy late this afternoon. Found 4 Redheads (3 drakes) where they have been known to breed in past years (mainly seen below s. dike). Also 2 Ruddy drakes working hard to outdo each other in the floating strut. Additional goodies included a passel of Yellow-rumps (20+) eating midges in the lee of the dikes, E. Kingbird, Sora, B. Orioles, one pair each of Gadwall, G-w Teal and Am. Wigeon, and about 6 Common Goldeneye.

The County is special.

List here.

Best,
Craig K
