[Maine-birds] Frenchman Bay area

5/5/15. Transit from Southwest Harbor to Bar Harbor. Clear, NW wind, 3 ft. swells.
Black Scoter 8
Common Loon 21 (five in one group), all plumages from winter to adult
Red-necked Grebe 1 winter plumage
Long-tailed Duck, 1 in full breeding plumage off Seal Harbor
Razorbill 3 (at various points along track)
Common Eider only 10
Black Guillemot, scattered along entire route
Herring, Black-backed, and Ring-billed Gulls at various locations in bay.
Bald Eagle, pair at Sheep Porcupine Island, one on nest.
Non-bird: 15-20 Harbor Seals on Egg Rock. No schools of fish seen on depth sounder.
Nature cruises start this Sat....finally! Ice on shaded side of Bald Porcupine Island at sea level, quite bit of ice on Cadillac and Sargent mountains.
