Weather:
Sunny skies were present for the entire count! Also we had the warmest day of the season at Bradbury. Winds started very light this morning and gradually picked up as the day progressed. Winds shifted from SE to SW. By the end of the count winds were moderate from the SW with the occasional gust. Great conditions for hawk watching. Hopefully no observers were sunburned as a result of the Bradbury Hawk Watch today!

Raptor Observations:
Today we had a great day with 265 migrants passing by the summit. This was one of the best days this season, featuring good raptor diversity. Many great looks were had today at all species reported. Late in the day a Peregrine Falcon glided by right over the summit!

Non-raptor Observations:
40 species were observed at the summit today, including FOY Black-and-White Warblers and a FOY Cliff Swallow. Other migrants included: Double-crested Cormorant 110 Tree Swallow 21 American Goldfinch 12 Barn Swallow 8 Yellow-rumped Warbler 6 Chimney Swift 5 Blue Jay 2 Great Blue Heron 1 Cliff Swallow 1

Predictions:
Another warm day tomorrow with sunshine and possibly a few more clouds than today. Winds are predicted to be WNW at 10-15 mph. I am predicting that tomorrow will be a decent day of hawk watching at Bradbury. I think migrants will be moving throughout the day!
