[Maine-birds] Osprey Success Story at Cape Neddick Harbor (maybe)

Hi, all. In 2012, The Cape Neddick River Association erected an osprey nesting platform on the old trolley trestle. We then waited patiently, often referring to it as "Linda's folly".  This week, an osprey has begun making a nest. I can hardly contain myself. Hopefully, he will find an accommodating female and my bucket list will be complete as I can sit at my kitchen table and watch nesting bluebirds and osprey at the same time!

You can easily watch him completing his nest from the Cape Neddick bridge and it's a beautiful day for a ride.

Happy birding,

Linda Scotland
